Prague Symphony Orchestra: Smetana, My Country

At the "Concert for the Republic", Bedrich Smetana's "Má vlast" (My Country) will be performed by the Prague Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Jiri Kout.
 

The Prague Symphony Orchestra has been enriching the musical life of the Czech capital and representing Czech culture at the highest level abroad for over 70 years. The orchestra's 76th concert season, with the theme "FOK", will focus on "Film – Opera – Concert", the triple orientation that the orchestra has followed since its founding.

 

Jiří Kout has been Chief Conductor of the Prague Symphony Orchestra since the 2006/2007 concert season.
