Giacomo Puccini's moving melodramma "Tosca" will be performed at the magnificient Teatro Real in Madrid.

Tosca is Puccini's melodramma in three acts with libretto by Giuseppe Giacosa and Luigi Illica, based on the Victorien Sardous play La Tosca (1887). The opera premiered at the Teatro Costanzi in Rome on 14 January 1900.
