Enjoy the concert cycle “The Young Talents’ Gallery” of the Lithanian State Symphony Orchestra in Vilnius.



The LSSO and Maestro Gintaras Rinkevičius start a new unique concert cycle called “The Young Talents’ Gallery”, a series of concerts which introduce the best young classical music soloists from various countries, who have won international recognition at the most prestigious world competitions. This is the first performance in Lithuania, by artist who may soon be among the world’s most distinguished performers. 
 

At the first concert, Jelena Semionova, a 24‐year‐old violinist, performs Waxman’s “Carmen Fantasy”, one of the most complex compositions for violin in the history of the instrument. The young virtuoso defeated several serious competitors and become the winner of the N. Paganini violin competition in Moscow. At the age of nine, she won the second prize at the international S. Prokofiev competition; at fifteen, she won the Grand Prix at the competition “21st Century Virtuosos”. The violinist has won more than ten prizes at international competitions.
