Brecht & Dessau: Deutsches Miserere

Luigi Nono's opera is (In the Bright Sunshine Heavy with Love) with a text by the composer himself and Juri Ljubimow is based on plays and texts by Bertolt Brecht, Fidel Castro, Che Guevara, Karl Marx, and Vladimir Lenin.   The opera deals with the theme of revolution, its hopes and failures and will be performed at the Oper Leipzig in this season.
