Mariss Jansons conducts the Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest Amsterdam in a performance of 20th century orchestral works, including Stravinsky's famous "Firebird" suite, at this year's "musikfest berlin".

"musikfest berlin 10", Berlin’s major festival for orchestral music, will once again open the city’s concert season. At the heart of this year's festival programme will be the musical oeuvres of Pierre Boulez – the great French composer and conductor, whose 85th birthday is being celebrated this year throughout the musical world – and of his Italian composer‐colleague Luciano Berio.
