The sisters Ragnhild and Eldbjørg Hemsing, are sensational newcomers to Norwegian music life. Here they present some of the most popular and challenging works of the violin genre.

The festivity continues in the orchestra’s programme: Svendsen’s exhilarating polonaise, de Falla’s Spanish colours and rhythms, and Strauss’ sparkling musical story about the unruly Till Eulenspiegel. This music is simultaneously playful, lively, humorous, and yet remains one of music history’s most well‐formulated works.
