Young Musicians on tour

The Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestras of Atlanta is a community‐based youth orchestra founded to provide young students with an opportunity to continue their music education in a full orchestra setting, work directly with professional musicians, and perform in public.

MYSO receives invitations to perform in many exciting venues beyond the Atlanta area. MYSO's Symphony Orchestra was invited to perform in the Youth Performance series at Carnegie Hall and on April 14, 2002 played to a standing ovation! What an experience for the musicians--to play in the same hall as Tchaikovsky and other illustrious musicians.
