For the Choeur de Chambre de Namur, 2007 is a landmark year: it is now 20 years since the ensemble began to explore the baroque repertoire, which it is still tackling with as much enthusiasm as ever, while regularly performing the works of composers who either came from this part of the world or who distinguished themselves here. This anniversary concert clearly demonstrates their love of this heritage, as they revive a neglected work by an Italian composer who served Maximilian II Emmanuel in Brussels.
