Musica Gaudeans ( Joyful Music) consisting of flute, oboe, guitar and cello has been performing on the concert stages since 1994. The original repertoire of sonatas and trio sonatas of baroque and classical masters ( J.S. Bach, G.P. Telemann, A. Vivaldi, W.A. Mozart, J.J. Quantz…) has been successfully extended by the compositions of completely different styles, various transcriptions of romantic and jazz composers ( Musorgskij 'Pictures at an Exhibition', Corea 'Spain' and 'Children´s Songs', sutes from Gershwin´s 'Porgy & Bess' and Bernstein´s 'West Side Story' and others as well as by contemporary compositions inscribed directly to the ensemble ( Eduard Douša 'Uno Per Quatro', Pavel Ciboch 'Zodiac Constellation', 'Arabic Suite', Karel Janovický 'Quartet for flute, oboe, quitar and cello', Max Stern 'Three Songs of the Children from Terezin' )

Musica Gaudeans is doing the best to present its music with joy and optimism with the help of two melodic instruments ( flute, oboe) and bassa continua ( cello and quitar). The audience in the Czech Republic as well as in Germany, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Japan and Greece has experienced it.
