The concerts of the orchestra founded by Claudio Abbado are events that remain in the memory of all those who attend them for the quality offered by its members and the energy they transmit.
Jonathan Nott takes over the Gustav Mahler Jugendochester again. The conductor of the Suisse Romande Orchestra since the 2016/2017 season, the British conductor has also been a member of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, with which he has recorded Gustav Mahler's symphonies in their entirety, and since 2014, he has been musical director of the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra and principal conductor and artistic advisor to the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie.
In this programme, one of the best youth orchestras in the world, the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, presents a demanding and varied programme in which she will demonstrate her most outstanding qualities: her talent and team spirit.
