Opéra de Baugé presents Beethoven's Fidelio at a historical sixteenth‐century estate in the French countryside.

Opéra de Baugé is an international opera festival in Anjou, France. Now in its ninth year, it offers its own, new, fully‐staged opera productions each season in a theatre which is specially erected at Les Capucins, Baugé, a historical property dating to the sixteenth century.

During the interval of 90 minutes the members of the audience can picnic in the park of Les Capucins or dine in the restaurant in the manor house (advance booking required). It is possible to bring your own picnic or to order picnic hampers in advance.
