Prepare to be astounded as the Russian virtuoso plays Rachmaninov's fiendishly demanding Third Piano Concerto. Berezovsky joins Dmitri Liss and the South Netherlands Philharmonic on the stage of the Concertgebouw's main hall.

Continuing the Russian theme is Shostakovich' Fifteenth Symphony. Ostensibly full of the naive innocence of childhood, and replete with allusions to famous works by other composers, including Rossini, Mahler, and Wagner, the symphony's complex rhythmic and harmonic structure renders it brooding and enigmatic.
