Enter the dark and dangerous world of fairytales as Yannick Nézet‐Séguin conducts star singers Michelle DeYoung and John Relyea in Bartók's setting of the grim story of Bluebeard and his fourth wife, the unfortunate Judith.

The Canadian conductor is Music Director elect of New York's Metropolitan Opera, and has a particular affinity for vocal music. Music from another tale with a bleak ending — Tchaikovsky's 'Swan Lake' — completes the program.
