For most of the last century unknown beyond a pair of famous arias for mezzosoprano and tenor, in recent years Massenet's Werther has enjoyed a renaissance of its own. Simon Keenlyside and Stéphanie d’Oustrac lead a cast of emerging stars and established artists in this concert performance.
