The heroes of Mikropolis include Kurt the ladybird, whose real name is Kung, or like Kostas the house fly, and Erdal the horse fly, whose favourite hobby is back‐mirror surfing — true Berliners, in other words. Into this group of best friends stumbles Gesine, a cricket and »country bumpkin.« Her strange talk about the beautiful countryside initially makes the super‐cool members of the insect group feel nothing but alienation, causing them to do something rash …
