TENET is one of New York’s preeminent vocal ensembles. Under artistic director Jolle Greenleaf, TENET is winning acclaim for its innovative programming, virtuosic singing and command of repertoire that spans the Middle Ages to the present. TENET features distinguished soloists who shine in one‐voice‐to‐a-part singing and as joined voices in small ensembles.

TENET is ensemble in residence at the historic St. Ignatius of Antioch Episcopal Church on New York City’s Upper West Side where they have presented critically acclaimed performances such as selections from Claudio Monteverdi’s dazzling collection of sacred music, Selva Morale e Spirituale, an eclectic program featuring music by the Renaissance master Nicolas Gombert and 20th century groundbreaker Francis Poulenc, an annual Christmas concert that has become a local holiday favorite, and a concert in honor of the 400th anniversary of Giovanni Gabrieli’s death with New York Polyphony and the Dark Horse Consort, in conjunction with the Five Boroughs Music Festival.

TENET regularly collaborates with other New York area ensembles, organizations and institutions such as Clarion Music Society for Christmas Mystery, Christmas Fantasy in December 2011, as part of Rockefeller University’s elite concert series, Trinity Wall Street’s Twelfth Night Festival, Miller Theater at Columbia University for a program featuring J.S. Bach and his illustrious predecessors, and with world‐renowned organist and choirmaster John Scott in a program of Tributes: Elegies and Homages.
