Schubert & Beethoven: Orchestral Music Series

In this concert together with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra the violinist Sergej Krylov will perform works by Schubert and will conduct Beethoven’s Third Symphony (Heroic).

“Invitation to be an Artistic Director of the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra has changed my life fundamentally. When a musician gets the chance to stand on the podium the feeling he experiences is indescribable. That is a gift of destiny!” says charismatic violinist Sergej Krylov, who three years ago began his career at the helm of the LCO. He gives concerts in world’s major concert halls such as the Berlin and Munich Philharmonic halls, the Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Teatro la Fenice in Venice, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, etc. The late Maestro Rostropovich has named Krylov as one of the world’s five best violinists.

The Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society welcomes symphonic music lovers to the Orchestral Music Series in Vilnius.
