Salle Pleyel: Carmina Burana
O wydarzeniu
Enjoy the powerful voices and orchestration of Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" at Salle Pleyel in Paris.
In his famous cantata Carmina Burana (1936), Carl Orff strives to create a style accessible to all, singable by all, and closer to the people than the music of his contemporaries … all inspired by the medieval style that is, in his eyes, a kind of paradise lost.
This work opens and closes with the chorus "O Fortuna", which has become a signature of the composer.
