Deeply moving religious works, conducted by Marcus Creed, feature in the programme for this Good Friday concert. The Poulenc Motets pour un temps de pénitence were written shortly after Poulenc's pilgrimage through the south of France. Mozart's Mass in C Minor features the Deutsche Kammerchor and soloists Scherrer, Rubens, Odinius and Berndt.
