Ramón Vargas, Una Notte Italiana: Music Summer Grafenegg

Over het evenement

Internationally renowned tenor Ramón Vargas and conductor Andrés Orozco‐Estrada take a trip to southern pastures with works by Donizetti, Verdi, Puccini and Mendelssohn Bartholdy.

The musical spectrum – ranging from zest for life to heartache – will unfold with great opera arias, magnificent orchestral pieces and the youthful freshness of Mendelssohn Bartholdy’s «Italian» Symphony. A lively Prelude will open the «Notte Italiana».

Since 2007, Grafenegg has presented a top‐class programme of concerts as part of the Music Summer and Music Festival. Under the artistic direction of Rudolf Buchbinder, the world’s most renowned orchestras, conductors and soloists come to perform on the Wolkenturm open‐air stage and in the Auditorium concert hall.
