Delight in the cunning conspiracies and dashing disguises of the ever‐inventive Figaro as he aids and abets the escape of the wealthy orphan Rosina from her lecherous guardian, into the waiting arms of the charming Count Almaviva.
Rossini's classic comic caper contains some of opera's most delightful musical moments, and the Opera di Roma have assembled a team sure to give each its due. Acclaimed conductor Donato Renzetti conducts Davide Livermore's new production, with Florian Sempey in the title role.
Sung in Italian, with English and Italian surtitles.
