Enjoy this exquisite event at Schönbrunn Palace in the historic city of Vienna and indulge in music by Mozart and Strauss in the unique atmosphere of the breathtaking baroque palace after a delicious 3‐course meal.
The first part of the concert features some of the most marvelous overtures, arias, and duets from the operas by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, including 'Le Nozze di Figaro', 'Die Zauberflöte' and 'Don Giovanni'. Popular operetta arias, waltzes, and polkas by the 'Waltz King', Johann Strauss, comprise the second part of the program. Highlights include excerpts from 'Die Fledermaus', 'Der Zigeunerbaron', the 'Donauwalzer' and the famous 'Radetzkymarsch'.
The orchestra is accompanied by two opera singers, a soprano and a baritone, and two ballet dancers in authentic costumes.

1 часть — ужин. Понравилось, что нас лично проводили через удивительный двор со свечами в земле. Зал, где проходил ужин, немного простоват, также как и сама еда. Напитки оплачиваются отдельно. 2 часть — концерт. Неплохой, но желательно приходить пораньше, чтобы занять лучшие места.

Excellent musically, we thought the programme concentrated to much on short excerpts, and lacked the 'feelgood' factor we usually associate with Strauss concerts.

Nous avons passe 11 jours a Vienne et ce diner etait le moins bon repas que nous ayons pris dans cette ville.Par contre le concert etait excellent

Le dîner avait lieu dans un couloir du restaurant petite table avec le vestiaire devant nous. Le repas acceptable quoique assez ordinaire. La musique: digne d'une brasserie , dans une toute petite salle ( un mètre entre la scène et le public) Des personnes en robes longues sont parties très déçues. D'autres arrivaient sans aucune tenue avec des après‐skis ou des bottes crottées.les 2 chanteurs étaient bien. Il n'y avait que 6 musiciens dont le pianiste.Sur la photo on nous montrait un grand salon avec un orchestre de chambre d'au moins vingt musiciens. 5 français sont partis sans écouter le concert en parlant de se plaindre à l'agence de voyage. je ne recommanderai jamais cette formule. J'invitais une amie pour son anniversaire, elle aussi a été très déçue.Dommage, je dois retourner avec un choeur de 20 personnes en Avril, je vais leur déconseiller cette soirée en leur racontant ma grande déception.
