The "Hungarian State Folk Ensemble", the "Danube Folk Ensemble" and the "Rajkó Folk Ensemble" are among the best professional Hungarian folk ensembles and perform in this series the greatest of Hungarian Folklore.

The ensembles have a long tradition — founded in 1951, 1957 and 1952 — and perform all around the country and abroad. Each group consists of 30 artists, and their choreography is based on authentic dances. Some were collected in isolated villages and date back hundreds of years. The performances offer a broad view of the music, dance and costume heritage of Hungary and the Hungarian‐inhabited areas. There very few countries where the art of folk‐dancing is still performed at such a high artistic level. There is even a college for studying Hungarian folk dances.

With their very successful shows, these ensembles have toured throughout Hungary, Europe, North and South America, Australia and the Far East, fascinating audiences everywhere.
