The Konzerthaus Berlin, a major classical music center, was originally a theater, constructed by famed architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel from 1818 to 1821. Located on the historic Gendarmenmarkt square, it was destroyed in World War II and only reopened in 1984. Three halls host about 550 events each year, including the Berlin season of the resident Konzerthausorchester Berlin, as well as guest orchestras including the Berliner Sinfonie‐Orchester.

With nearly 100 concerts each season, the Konzerthausorchester has been inspiring audiences in the concert hall on Gendarmenmarkt for over 60 years! Enjoy musical masterworks performed in the beautiful Konzerthaus Berlin.
