The Jean Louis Petit Orchestra is joined by the excellent chorus Amadeus and soloists to perform Mozart's final composition, the Requiem. Experience this stunning choral masterwork in the lovely neo‐Classical La Madeleine Church in Paris.
Mozart's final opus is a masterpiece of classical music. This work is characterised by emotional phases of hope, fear, and salvation — emotions that Mozart lived through writing the work in the last weeks of his life.

Either the accoustioc at the venue was very poor or the choir were very poor — the sound we heard was not very good

Acustic to owerwhelming for this music. Hard to get details in music and orcestra. The Madelaine is not suited for classical orcestras and choire. Some instruments benefitted to much by the room, as reed‐instruments and trumpets. Strings was mulled down.

The singing was lovely but needed a little amplification (I'm sorry to say). The soloists were hard to hear over the orchestra.

天候が悪い中、夜ホテルから出かけるのは正直億劫で、予約したことを悔やみかけましたが・・・行ってよかったです。教会独特の音響が新鮮でした。
