Though St Peter%u2019s, Siena, dates from 1909, as early as 1841 a formidable woman headed a small group of Anglican worshippers in the city. This was Lady Olivia Bernard Sparrow, a strong Evangelical, a friend of Wilberforce, and a rich widow who from her house at Brampton Park dominated the social life and the good works of Huntingdonshire.
