Since opening of the Oslo Concert Hall in 1977, the festive venue has etablished itself as one of the most important institutions in Norwegian musical and cultural life. The Main Hall has capacity for 1404 seats, in addition to the possibility of up to 226 seats in the choir terrace (behind the stage). It also houses the country’s largest organ.
