Monument National is the oldest theater building still in use in Canada, dating from 1893.

The interior of the Ludger‐Duvernay Theater, located in the Monument Nation, recalls a 19th century aesthetic, replete with red velvet, wrought‐iron railings, and a sweeping curved balcony.
