Philharmonie Essen

The Philharmonie Essen is the largest concert hall of the Ruhrgebiet. It has introduced the converted historical Essener Saalbau, to a new musical life. The concert hall has been ranked over several decades to be one of the most important halls of Germany. It opened again in June 2004 to the concert public, after two years of renovation. Today the building belongs to the list of the most beautiful concert halls in Germany.
