Today it has evolved to combine professional development opportunities for young artists and advanced students with wide-ranging support for committed and talented enthusiasts. Known for the exceptional musicianship of its players, the orchestra has toured to almost every continent in the globe and champions new works, regularly presenting world premieres of contemporary works at Carnegie Hall.
