Ateneu Barcelones

The Ateneu Barcelonès was founded in 1860. Located in the Palacio Savassona, the library is filled with Francesc Pla’s wondrous murals depicting mythological themes. With its magnificent inner garden, it is a place for comfort, contemplation and conversation. The site has been decreed a Cultural Property of National Interest.
