Concert for Children: Kivi is Singing

In this concert series, you will enjoy concerts especially made for children, performed by members of the Lithuanian State Symphony Ochestra and Soloists of the Kaunas State Music Theatre.

Those who have heard the singing of Kivi choir know that its performance is so effective and sincere that it stays in their minds for a long time. This young choir has many international awards and much critical acclaim. Formed in 1997 at the Centre for Children and Youth, Kivi has won competitions in Latvia, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Italy, Denmark, and the Netherlands. In 2006, it won in the category of jazz at the World Choir Games (with 430 choirs participating every year) in China, and earned gold medals in the categories of jazz and pop music at the World Choir Games in Graz, Austria, in 2008. The songs sung by Kivi are like little, playful and emotional performances with unbelievable improvisation and stunning musicianship.
