In Lamento, the Baroque lament, the victims are furious about the arbitrariness of the ruling class.

In notes that tug at the heartstrings, the oppressed accuse the offender: the Roman Lucrezia, who was abused by a king's son; the Cretian Arianna, who was abandoned by a hero; the Frenchman Henri de Cinq‐Mars, who crossed Richelieu's path because a king became attached to him. Roberta Invernizzi, the maestro of baroque Espressivo, lends her voice to the abused. Luca Pianca accompanies her with heart‐melting notes.
