The conductor Michael Helmrath will open the anniversary concert in Dresden with an overture, which he will direct live form London. It will be transmitted to Dresden where he will be visible on a transparent screen in the concert hall.

After this futuristic beginning, the Estonian conductor, Olari Elts, will assume Michael's role live in Dresden and continue to lead through the thrilling programme.
