Birthday concert to the 135th anniversary of Johannes Brahms and the 35th Jörg Widmann

Jörg Widmann is a German composer and clarinet player. He lives and works in Munich and Freiburg. He got lessons by Henze, Hiller, Goebbels and Rihm. Since 2001 he is been teaching at the conservatory Freiburg. Various compositions for clarinet are devoted to him. His compositions are first performed by such conducters as Boulez, Thielemann or Nagano.
