Paul Dombrecht and his ensemble like to stray from the well‐trodden paths. Here they turn the spotlight on the great and underrated Bohemian composer Zelenka. From his abundant liturgical output we will hear, among other works, the Requiem dating from around 1731, in which strict choral fugues are interspersed with colourful harmonies, typical of Zelenka's original idiom.
