Volksoper Vienna: Mostly Mozart

'Mostly Mozart' is a mixed evening of dance performed by the Ballet of the Wiener Staatsoper and Volksoper Ballet.

Jiří Kylián’s choreography in “Petite Mort” – to the slow movements from two piano concerts – and Six dances – to the German Dances KV 571 – is brilliantly set to compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In this mixed evening of dance these works are preceded by a revised version of “Mokka” to music by Paolo Conte; a work by the French choreographer Miriam Naisy; and by the première of “Tabula Rasa” (Music: Arvo Pärt) by Hungarian choreographer and ensemble member, András Lukács.
