Gorge on a feast of Baroque delicacies amid the spectacular charms of Versailles' Royal Opera. Featuring a who's who of today's early music pantheon, and music by composers from Hasse and Handel to Stradella and Scarlatti, this is an event no devotee of Baroque music will want to miss!.
In a pastiche remiscent of the entertainments enjoyed by the court of Versailles during the Baroque period, entitled 'Tell me the Truth about Love', rising star mezzosoprano Lea Desandre, and countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński are directed by Robert Carsen, and accompanied by William Christie and Les Arts Florissants.
