Try to pin down Arnold Schoenberg's elusive Chamber Symphony, in the company of some of Scandinavia's finest chamber musicians. A shape‐shifting, unpredictable work that pushes the boundaries of both form and harmony, Schoenberg's first Chamber Symphony reflects the unsettled era of its composition.

Mozart's Clarinet Quintet provides a smooth contrast, and works by Erik Peters  — the 2008 Silent Repeat for marimba and flute — and Amanda Maier‐Röntgen, writing for violin and piano, demonstrate the legacy of Schoenberg's numerous challenges to the status quo.
