In Miki Kekenj's arrangements for voice and chamber ensemble, the five musicians let Denalane's music shine in an unusual, classical splendour. Where otherwise drums and electric bass set the tone, piano, clarinet and cello take over. Thus the two seemingly opposite poles come together on our stage in the greatest harmony and blast the boundaries between classical and soul.
