Joseph Moog and Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands at Concertgebouw + Guided Tour

イベント情報

A waterfall of notes flows over the hall in Beethoven's Emperor's concert, played by Joseph Moog. The National Youth Orchestra will perform Richard Strauss' exciting Eine Alpensinfonie.

Joseph Moog in Beethoven's Imperial concert

Brave, passionate, energetic, endowed… a selection of the reactions Joseph Moog evokes in the music press. The young star pianist can express all these qualities in Beethoven's Fifth piano concert. A flamboyant and luminous work, also known as the Imperial Concerto. Moog gets a waterfall of notes for his choices. And a surprising duet between piano and kettledrum.

Strauss

The 'contagiously positive' Antony Hermus leads not only Beethoven but also Richard Strauss. With an extra large National Youth Orchestra. Strauss uses 'regular' instruments as well as a wind machine and cow bells. In his Eine Alpensinfonie, the rise of the sun is the start of a challenging mountain ascent. To the rhythm of the music we conquer slopes and gorges, thunderstorms and fog. After an exciting day we come down again just before sunset.
