Gautier Capuçon and Yuja Wang play Franck's sonata and music by Chopin in this Festspielhaus concert. With Franck's music, both artists can show why they have been among the best in their field for many years: After an internalized beginning, the second movement unleashes a virtuosity that particularly suits Yuja Wang, this most daring of the young pianists. Gautier Capuçon's art of building tension with a single long line is allowed to unfold in the Adagio.
