The Oper Leipzig will present "Siegfried", the third of four operas of Richard Wagner's monumental mythological cycle "The Ring of the Nibelung" in a concert performance of the opera conducted by Ulf Schirmer.

This concert performance of the opera with the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig is a small taste of what is to come in the upcoming 2012/13 season with the scenic performances of "The Ring" under the baton of Ulf Schirmer.
