Orpheus Britannicus: Deborah Cachet sings Henry Purcell

Lo spettacolo

Hear Deborah Cachet sing the most touching works by Henry Purcell at the Théâtre Grévin in Paris.

Purcell died in 1695, but more than three centuries later, he is still one of the most fascinating composers of the Elizabethan era. Several of his masterworks were compiled in 1698 in the Orpheus britannicus, a collection from which the works are extracted and featured on the program of this fantastic concert. The multi‐talented soloist Nicolas Achten will accompany the soprano in this homage to the genius of Purcell.
