Prepare for an evening in the chilling grip of the Gothic revival. Gounod's setting of Matthew Lewis' hugely‐popular story features star tenor Michael Spyres and Marion Lebègue as the titular Nun.
Laurence Equilbey conducts his Insula orchestra, choir Accentus, and a scintillating cast in the multi‐talented David Bobée's production of a work that lead to the deposition of the contemporary Director of the Paris Opéra at its 1854 premiere!
The event is part of the Festival Palazzetto Bru Zane in Paris.
