Tartu

Tartu is a city of original festivals, song festivals and museums. Folk art days, exhibitions, concerts and youth festivals which also attract people from outside Estonia, are organised in Tartu. The development of both professional and folk culture is promoted here. The museums of Tartu actively introduce our rich cultural and national heritage. The sports life of Tartu also extends beyond the borders of Estonia: the Tartu Ski Marathon, which is a part of the Worldloppet series, is internationally famous.
