The Berlin Chamber Music Festival brings together world‐class musicians (with a focus on string instruments), chamber music fans, an exceptional performance space, and a fascinating instrument collection.

An evening of chamber music based around two recent compositions by the British composer Charlotte Bray. "Yellow Leaves", a setting of haiku‐like poems inspired by Shakespeare's sonnets for piano and soprano, appears on Charlotte's recently released debut CD. "Oneroi" is a solo piano piece inspired by dream spirits from ancient Greek mythology.

The Berlin Chamber Music Festival festival reflects the spirit of the German capital, offering performances at the highest level, in a non‐traditional atmosphere and for a small budget. Berlin has a very lively music scene, with many top musicians living in the city, but until now, it lacked a classical chamber music festival that met international standards.
