The chamber music season of the Auditori de Barcelona features a variety of excellent ensembles and soloists.

The Barcelona Reed Quintet was founded in 2010 by young musicians from La Banda Municipal de Barcelona inspired by the Calefax Reed Quintet, a unique group of reed instruments.

The quintet was given the honour of performing at the opening of Hall 4 Alicia de Larrocha at the Auditori in November 2010.
