Lo spettacolo
Nell'impressionante interno della Sinagoga Spagnola di Praga, il Czech Collegiumesegue un programma molto vario, con soprano e tromba solisti.
Opere di Verdi, Händel e Puccini condividono il programma con 'Hallelujah' di Leonard Cohen e altre melodie popolari.
Il Czech Collegium è composto in gran parte da musicisti di spicco dell'Orchestra Sinfonica FOK di Praga. Si dedica principalmente alla musica da camera ed è stato ben accolto sia in patria che all'estero.
La Sinagoga spagnola è il più antico edificio ebraico di Praga e vanta splendide decorazioni dorate e geometriche, con un soffitto a cupola, motivi islamici e vetri colorati.
