Return to Rome with French composer Marc‐Antoine Charpentier, one of the most original composers of the 16th century. Taken from Ovid's Metamorphoses, the story brings the hunter Actaeon's trials and tribulations to the stage as he chases Diane, goddess of the hunt, with whom he has tragically fallen in love.
